One thing that did come out of the Defence Committee meeting was that we shall have to have an A.C.S. full time on defence matters because it is evident that local defence forces and kindred matters are going to take up considerably more time in future. We have not available in Hong Kong a body for this work so shall probably be telegraphing to you about it shortly.
